Ring binder is not a permanent binding, which would offer flexibility of updating your printed material and keeping it up to date. If you have a live document evolving with updates, probably ring binder is the best option.

Ring binder is bulky in comparison with other binding options.

Binding Size

Ring binder is available in A5 and A4 sizes and in portrait orientation. If you order your binder in A4 size, 2 rings and 4 rings options are available.

Limitations

Maximum page limit on 80gsm paper is 590 sheets of paper. In other words, if your document is single sided, you can bind up to 590 pages and if your document is double sided you can bind up to 1180 pages. If you prefer heavier paper like 100gsm or more, maximum number of pages you could bind, would go down.
